I provide one-to-one counselling and emotional support to adults aged 18 and over. My practice supports clients experiencing a range of emotional and life difficulties, including bereavement and loss, anxiety and stress, low mood, self-worth and confidence, relationship difficulties, life transitions, experiences of cancer, adoption-related experiences, intimacy, and exploration of gender and identity. I do not provide counselling services to children or young people under 18.
Welcome to Mellie Counselling & Psychotherapy.
I am a qualified counsellor therapist with a B.A. (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy, offering a pluralistic, integrative and person-centred approach.
I believe each person is unique, and counselling should be shaped around your individual needs, experiences, and goals. I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace.
I work with adults experiencing a range of life challenges, including bereavement, grief, and loss, stress, anxiety, fears, low mood, emotional distress, relationships, self-worth and relating to others. I also have an interest in supporting people affected by cancer, adoption, intimacy and questions around gender and identity.
I offer counselling in person and online.
You don't need to have everything figured out before coming to counselling. Sometimes having the space to talk, be heard and gain a different perspective can be an important first step.
