Young Parents Support Programme- YPSP for short, is a family support service for young people who are pregnant or parenting. Support is available for Mothers and Fathers and extended family members who play an important part in your life.
The support service is free and confidential.
Once a referral is made to the YPSP a project worker will make contact with you to discuss your needs and concerns. Together a plan can be created to best support you and your child. You can meet the project worker on your own, as a couple, with a member of your family or anyone supporting you. Meetings make take place in your own home, at the YPSP office or wherever you feel comfortable. This work can be carried out on a one to one basis, through activities or by putting you in contact with other sources of support.
Supports can include
