Description:

The response of the Centre to the issues of sexual violence is to provide the following services universally:

  • Crisis counselling
  • Ongoing face to face counselling
  • Outreach counselling
  • Free phone helpline
  • Support, advocacy and information for survivors, in particular around legal issues
  • Relationship counselling
  • Survivors Support Group Counselling, support and information for supporters of survivors
  • Hospital, court, GP, and/or Garda accompaniment
  • Education, training and awareness-raising
  • Lobbying and influencing policy on relevant issues through the Rape Crisis Network Ireland
  • Networking, experience and information sharing with other relevant voluntary and statutory organisations

External clinical supervision once every 2 weeks in line with IACP, BACP, IAHIP, RCNI guidelines. Also peer supervision once every 2 months.
